I Hate February.

Yea that's it really...February is shitty so far, One good thing happens when I run bad though...I learn new weakness and leaks in my game and I think I have found a few and am resolving them gradually.
On another note... Me and Hoooooof went up to Nottingham at the weekend to play some live cash at DuskTillDawn, a new poker club, apparently the biggest in Europe. It was pretty impressive, loads of tables with levels from £100nl ranging up to a £10-$10 Horse game, others were available a pon request. The best part about our weekend was all the fucked up stuff we saw ranging from...

A Spitting tramp woman who consistantly spat every 5 seconds as she walked past.
A real wolf on a rope near Lukes house (It wasnt a Husky it was a Wolf!
A Jew-Scope (No racist implications We had just never seen one before).
A Fat paper hoarding tramp who actually requested and took a paper from a woman on the train who was still reading it).
A Sleezeball receptionist at our hotel (she was either a serial killer, or wanting a 3 way, or was generally just a sleezy bitch).

New site...New Skin...

So after a terrible last week or so at Pacific and trouble with Ladbrokes tables Ive decided to take a shot at Party!! I know the games could be a lot tougher but with the help of Spadeye!! I intend to hunt down those fish.
Spadeeye, is however the most annoying program ive ever had to set up in my life, and I didnt even do most of the setting up, Hoooooof did! Now its all sorted however Ive started data mining and using the scanner and its really quite handy. I dont have enough hands on anyone yet to find the fish but In a couple of days ill have a sick Party database of fish.
My first shot at party was without stats and it went really well, I made about 3buyins in a couple of hours. Today I played again and lost the three buyins I made yesterday, There was only one buyin size pot but I lost a lot of medium and small size pots.
After going through my hands today I have come to the conclusion that there are loads of holes in my game and its actually quite annoying. Hoooooof has however given me some more insight into postflop 3-bet pot play and I think it will improve from now on. Also I seem to have turned into a bit of a river fish and am going to a lot of showdowns recently, Im going to focus a lot more on what I look people up with as I obviously not giving people enough credit.
On a positive note, I love how my party looks now after its been given a new lease of life with skins and cards and stuff, check it out bouy!!:

January overview.

January...my first month at mid stakes, Started amazingly. I made $11,000 in the first 11 days, sick! couldn't ask for more! Then my sick run came to an end and It started to hit home that I was now playing mid stakes. When I say playing at mid stakes I'm referring to playing with a lot more tags! The games don't seem to be that much tougher though and there are only a few tags that actually cause me any grief. I thought I would be getting pushed about a lot more than I am, but I seem to be doing a lot of the pushing around myself, whether im doing it in the right spot or not is something I need to work on.
A lot of my focus this month has been on playing 3-bet pots post flop, the best lines, and attitudes to take with individual styles of player. As well as this Hoooooof has been talking to me about balancing my lines and focusing on RANGES, also balancing the bluffs and nuts I have in different positions and making my plays less readable to villains.
I feel if I had a big enough roll for 5/10 now, It wouldn't be a good idea to move up. I think I have a lot to learn before I play with any TAG's or LAG's at a higher level.

Best Day...Biggest stack....SICK DAY!

Ok, well let me start by talking about 400nl so far. I have defiantly noticed a difference in the play, a lot more aggression, a lot more double barrels, a lot more moves. I feel I have adapted quite well, I've defiantly been more aggressive and there has been a large increase in move making and so on, I wont go into details just in case there are any sneaky Pacific TAG's out there reading up on me!!!

I have to say im enjoying the game more now than 4 weeks ago, there is more to think about and its less standard boring ABC poker. I also feel my reads are getting better and better which is not only improving my game but also improving the experience.

The last week or so however has been a chore and the bain of my life! I had been break even for quite a few thousand hands and my graph started to look like the shape of the scare I would make on Jeremy Kyles face if I ever saw him. Today however was siiiiiiick.
